Before her career as a broadcaster began, Nina featured naked in the August 1978 issue of Playboy, as a part of the pictorial “The Girls in the Office”. In 1981, when MTV began airing, Nina was selected as one of five VJs, including Mark Goodman, J. J. Jackson, Alan Hunter, and Martha Quinn. She worked for MTV until 1986, when she left for Entertainment Tonight. There, she got her own show – “Rock Report” – and also served as host of the TV music show “Solid Gold” (1986-1988).
