Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather will never meet in a boxing ring, but the former heavyweight champion seems more than happy to verbally spar with the welterweight outside of it.
During an interview with Undisputed Champion Network on Thursday night, Tyson called Mayweather “delusional” after the 38-year-old — who’s set to meet Manny Pacquiao on Saturday — boasted he was greater than Muhammed Ali.
Tyson followed up with some even harsher words, noting, “Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people; greatness is being accepted by the people.”
“He’s very delusional,” Tyson said of Mayweather. “If he was anywhere near the realm of greatness of Ali, he’d be able to take his kids to school by himself. … He’s a little scared man; he’s a very small, scared man.”

Tyson wasn’t so quick to say that Mayweather’s apparent fear of to take his kids to school by himself would affect his abilities against Pacquiao in the ring, however.
While Tyson said at first he picked Pacquiao to win, he’s not so sure now.
“This is gonna be interesting,” Tyson said. “I know it’s gonna be a good fight, regardless of who wins.”
As far as what Tyson thinks about the current heavyweight division, in which Wladimir Klitschko proved again with relative ease that he was the best, Tyson had a lot less to say.
“I don’t think about it,” Tyson said. “Klitschko dominates. That’s what it’s about.”
